RODIS - New Website:

RODIS - the rECOrd Online Data Entry System, developed to allow recorders and wildlife spotters/observers to enter their records/sightings on-line for entry into the centralised database, has recently been picked up by other Local Record Centres (LRC's) in the North West and the Midlands. This now provides a 'common interface' for recorders to enter their data and it is directed into the relevant LRC. Many more developments and enhancements to the facility are planned for the future. The other LRC's currently using RODIS are: Cheshire rECOrd; Merseyside BioBank, Greater Manchester Local Record Centre (GMLRC); Staffordshire Ecological Record (SER); Cumbria Biodiversity Record Centre (CBDC) and Birmingham & Black Country LRC (EcoRecord).

To see the new website devoted/dedicated to RODIS usage please go to:

Hope you enjoy it and find it helpful - all suggestions for improvement or enhancement will be gratefully received. Please send suggestions and comments to: Luck@rECOrd-LRC.co.uk

Each of the LRC's RODIS pages can be found over at:
