Cantharid for ID

Post by ralpha »

Hi folks

I intended to post a message to this forum for the first time but wanted to attach images of the beetle from one of my "my Pictures" folders in Windows. I assumed I would be able to browse to the images I wanted. So would be gald if someome could explain how I do this. Meanwhile in this case I will post to the beetles yahoo group with personal copies to Don etc.

Many thanks

Ralph

Hi Ralph

Good to see you here !

To attach images go below the message input area (below the "Submit" button and you will see an 'Upload attachment' button - click this, then Browse for your photo file and add a comment describing the photo and click the "Add the file" button.

When the photo file has uploaded click the "Place inline" button and then the "Submit" button to submit your message AND the photo together.

Good luck, and let me know if you have any other/further problems.

Steve :)
P.S.: Your Cantharid looks like a Cantharis nigra to me Ralph.

As for the ladybird - I'm afraid I have never seen one like that in my life - I would say a very unusual form.
