Symposium on the Conservation of Saproxylic Beetles

10th European Symposium & Workshop on the Conservation of Saproxylic Beetles:
An announcement has just been made for the next European gathering of saproxylic beetle people:
"I am happy to inform you about the option to register now for the "10th Symposium on the Conservation of Saproxylic Beetles" organized in the National Park Bavarian Forest - 8 to 10 June 2018:

These meetings happen every other year; the previous one was held in Belgium in 2016. It is a major opportunity to meet up with other saproxylic beetle enthusiasts and to hear about current research projects. There is a mix of indoor presentations and field trips. Brits are usually few and far between, so how about making this one different by turning out in force ? The language for the meeting is English.
