Many micros.....
Many micros.....
We had many micros in the trap last night and we have tried to identify them. Here are several that we would appreciate confirmation on our attempts or identification please.
Re: Many micros.....
Hi Tim
Micro's 1 & 5 = Eudonia lacustrata
Micro 2 = Crambus pascuella
Micro's 3 & 4 = Clepsis consimilana
Micro 6 = Garden Grass-veneer Chrysoteuchia culmella
Micro 7 = Dark Fruit-tree Tortrix Pandemis heparana
Micro 8 = Red-barred Tortrix Ditula angustiorana
Micro 9 = Anania coronata
Anania stachydalis is always worth considering, although it has yet to be found in NW England.
Regards
Steve

Re: Many micros.....
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your patience, comprehensive reply and clarification. We still struggle with micros so we found that information really helpful. We had lots more micros again today, so here are some more, one that we think we have identified, and again we would welcome your input.
