Syncopacma sp.
Re: Syncopacma sp.
Hi Mike,
you can rule out - or confirm it as taeniolella but looking at the underside of the forewing...
Cheers,
Steve

Re: Syncopacma sp.
Aproaerema larseniella - new to Cheshire.
There are three old records of A. cinctella/larseniella from New Brighton, pre 1887, Wallasey, pre 1940, and Congleton, 1947. These were originally recorded as A. cinctella, although A. cinctella is believed to be much more local. Sadly none of these were ever confirmed.
The Syncopacma have been synonymized with Aproaerema, although we will still have to record them as Syncopacma until the recording schemes catch up.
Regards
Steve
