The Watford Coleoptera Group has a wonderful British Beetles wesbite over at:

This has a superb photographic gallery of identified set specimens and also contains information on techniques of finding beetles as well as keys to specific families. An excellent information resource for both experienced coleopterists and beginner beetle'ers alike.
