Galls on Pear (Pyrus) Leaves:
I went to Norton Priory, Runcorn, this afternoon (30/10/2013) and found the fungal gall of Gymnosporangium sabinae on the leaves of every Pear tree (Pyrus communis) in the Pear Orchard (SJ54908357). I also took lots of leaves from various trees and bushes to identify the leaf-miners and a few micro-fungi. These records will be entered into RODIS asap.
