2013 Recorders’ Round Up:
RECORD and the Recorders’ Forum would like to invite you to an evening to celebrate the 2013 recording year and the many interesting finds it has presented. We have a number of interesting talks followed by an open forum for discussing the highlights of your year!
The focus of this years talks will be:
Species restoration and reintroduction:
Through the three talks we will take a look at some of the valuable work being undertaken across the region; from Sand Lizard reintroductions on Talacre Dunes to the White-faced Darter reintroduction scheme in Delamere. We will also hear how monitoring will form an integral part of a restoration scheme on a local wildlife site.
Of course there will also be time to discuss all the interesting finds seen in and around Cheshire this year; have you seen a lot, seen a little, or perhaps you have seen a rarity? We will also have a rolling photographic-slide show of this year’s interesting finds so if you have an image of your interesting find and would like to add it to the show please send it across when you book your place.
Come along and tell us what made your recording year special !
Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Although this is a free event booking is essential. To book a place please e-mail: Info@record-LRC.co.uk
Place: Risley Moss Nature Reserve
Time: 6.15 for 6.30pm start finish 8.45pm
When: 14th November 2013
We look forward to seeing you there.
