Using digital maps and GPS in fieldwork:
The Field Studies Council produces a book series called AIDGAP Guides. AIDGAP produces simple and clearly written keys to identification and volumes of practical guidance for field technques. The keys are fully illustrated, usually with line drawings.
A new AIDGAP Guide to the use of digital maps and GPS in fieldwork was produced in 2008: "Using digital maps and GPS in fieldwork: a practical guide for teachers" - OP126 - 2008 - Field Studies Council - £5.00
