Badger Group - Call for Help:
Hi everyone,
It's the Wirral & Cheshire Badger Group's AGM on Saturday 31st May at Frodsham Community Centre and we need as many members as possible there! If you're not yet a member its only £10 so please join.
We have begun surveying sites for badger vaccination and this will be a 5 year project. All members are welcome to take part and assist with the survey and vaccination programme. Aside from this key area of work the day to day still continues with liaising with home owners, landowners and developers, carrying out education work in the community as well as dealing with the ever increasing persecution incidences - all of this is to protect our regions badgers.
The W&CBG committee is in need of help. We are desperately in need of a newsletter editor, fundraisers, a PR person to liaise with the media as well as 'more hands on the deck' generally. If anyone is interested please get in touch; to find out more - drop us an email or call for a chat. You don't need a wealth of badger experience we're looking for people with all kinds of skills that can help us as a charity to run effectively.
