Help With Identification:

Could anyone tell me what this spider is please? I found it in my house in South Cheshire (Shocklach).

Alison,

Pretty sure your photo is of a crab spider, family Thomisidae - probably not adult at this time of year. Lots of variation in colour and patterning in these spiders and it would require microscopical examination of adult to be sure of the species.
