Corizus hyoscyami Sighting:

Hi All ,

The Firebug (Corizus hyoscyami) found once again on the Wirral at Red Rocks 11th June 2015. It was first recorded on the Wirral twice in May 2013. I myself having recorded it at Thurstaston, the other record being close by. A further record was at Macclesfield in September 2013. (See post Corizus hyoscyami ? )

It does appear that it now is an established species on the Wirral but does that apply to the rest of Cheshire?

Cheers,
H
