Cockchafer in July:
This Cockchafer (Melolontha melolontha) was found at Cedar House last week by RECORD volunteers. They're usually seen in April to early May. How unusual is it to see one in July ?
It wasn't ID'd as either male or female as the antenna "leaves" could not be seen !
