Can anyone help ID this grass please?

Anthony from Vale Royal Environmental network sent this me, and he thinks it may be Barnyard Grass. Can anyone confirm this.

Barnyard Grass is commonly known as Cockspur (or Cockspur Grass), or as Common Barnyard Grass. Its Scientific Name is: Echinochloa crus-galli.

The Barnyard grass was seen at Tattenhall Centre, round the back, in the corner of the car park nearest the allotments.

I will see if I can get a sample.
