More Spring Usher
Had 3 Spring Usher to MV at Burton Mere Wetlands on Friday 28th, along with my first Pale Brindled Beauty and Early Moth of the winter. 37 moths of 8 species recording in total.
Re: More Spring Usher
Hi Graham
Thanks for the prompting. I had never seen this species previously. I set the trap last night for a few hours as it was so mild & caught one moth but it was a Spring Usher.
Yesterday morning I saw a butterfly sp. much to my amazement. It was flying strongly & away from me. I had no binoculars with me. The light was poor but it was largish & dark so possibly a Red Admiral.
Regards, Mike

Morning All
My first trap of the new year last night at home also attracted 1 Spring Usher, 1 Early Moth and a Dark Chestnut.
