A Biodiversity Information System for Cheshire, Halton, Warrington & Wirral

As my garden is not as productive as some lucky folk, I sometimes have to rely on chance finds out in the field. This was the case yesterday when I found this specimen scuttling about on the woodland floor. Please could someone confirm that it is a chestnut as I believe it to be. I've never seen one before so I want to be sure.
