With the first snow and frosts now, I doubt that there will be many more
orthoptera records submitted for the year - in fact to look at the records
submitted you'd think it had been frosty and snowing all year.
Could any orthoptera records be submitted via RODIS? I'm particularly
interested in any groundhopper records and also Oak Bush Cricket and Bog
Bush Cricket. Obviously all records are of interest. I'll be putting
together a provisional atlas in the new year for Cheshire / rECOrd Region,
so get those records in and see them on paper.
For those who want to get into recording grasshoppers and crickets, I can
prepare some brief id notes to the Cheshire species and put them on the
Forum somewhere
