Is this Anthophora plumipes ? Seen at Port Sunlight Garden Centre on 09/04/2013.

Yes it is Anthophora plumipes, confirmed by Carl Clee !!!

Only three records for Cheshire, so something to look out for.

Other records are Thurstaston Cliffs in 2010 and New Ferry Butterfly Park in 2013.
