Perhaps the largest Lavatera arborea (syn.) in Wirral?:

This is my first post. I'm always on the lookout for plants that grab my attention, and this Lavatera was one of those! I've seen this species growing all over the coast in Wirral, but never this big. This is clearly a perennial, meaning its habitat must be favourably mild and dry. The habitat is rather remarkable, more akin to something you might find in the Canary Islands. This one was located just before you get to Heswall Beach from the direction of Parkgate.

Stephen.

Any chance you could put that record (and any other records/sightings) into RODIS please Stephen ???

See the large RODIS characters on the rECOrd Home-page (http://www.rECOrd-LRC.co.uk) and click the name to get to the facility.

Cheers.

Steve

Hi Steve,

There are a few along the Dee Cliffs all the way to Caldy, they seem to enjoy 'life on the edge'. Do you do any other recording?
