Waxwings:

The recent hard weather has resulted in good numbers of Waxwings (Bombycilla garrulus) appearing at various sites across Cheshire, with birds in Warrington, Northwich, Kelsall, Neston, Knutsford and no doubt elsewhere. I had to pop to Tesco's in Northwich today and a group of about 30 were feeding just outside the entrance to store!!
