‘100 YEARS OF BRITISH BIRDS AND BRITISH BIRDWATCHING’ by Bob Scott
In 2007 the journal British Birds published volume 100. Looking back through the years, the journal has recorded and reflected the changing attitudes to birds and birdwatching in the UK. This presentation charts the history of the journal, the birds and the people over 100 years.
All meetings are held in the Cranford Suite (situated behind the cinema), Civic Centre, Toft Road, Knutsford. An entrance fee of £1.50 to members and £3.00 for non-members. A coffee break is taken halfway through the evening. The doors open at 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start.
