Ypsolopha scabrella

Post by PaulMartinHill »

Ypsolopha scabrella:

A rather good mix in the moth-trap this morning at Marbury with two Ypsolopha scabrella and a Dark Swordgrass (Agrotis ipsilon) (again!!) amongst the contents.

EDIT - I thought that Ypsolopha scabrella was new for the site, but now having checked it wasn't.

August Thorn (Ennomos quercinaria):

A much better night here in Higher Poynton with 363 moths of 88 species in the Robinson trap; the highlight was this August Thorn !!
