Ypsolopha sylvella:

One in our trap at Elton this morning was only our fourth record. (The Green Shieldbug (Palomena prasina) also attracted was the first ever!)

Large Yellow Underwings (Noctua pronuba) are becoming increasingly common (c.40 each session now) and Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing (Noctua janthe) is having a good season, with counts in the low to mid teens when we trap.
