One of these surprisingly smart looking micros in the Elton trap last night, a first for the garden, you can just about see the whitish eye caps. Of additional interest was a single Pyrausta aurata

Usually when I check Ox-eye Daisy for mines, if I find any at all, they are fly mines, probably those belonging to Phytomyza leucanthemi, although I have found B.nigricomella mines occasionally. If you are lucky enough to find the initial mines they start from a distinctive spiral. These mines were found at Willaston in October 2008.
