Leaf Mines on Oak

Post by Tim_Ward »

Lots of leaf mines at Aston Mere Country Park on Sunday.
I attach a couple of photos of a tenanted mine on Oak of Tischeria ekebladella.
I also attach a photo of an untenanted leaf fold on Oak...............is this likely to be a micro moth or some other species?

Hi Tim

The folded oak leaf is the result of a Phyllonorycter species
