More leaf mines from Aston Mere C.P.

Post by Tim_Ward »

Two more mines from Aston Mere C.P.
The first photo is, I believe, a leaf fold of Parornix anglicella.
The other photos are of a leaf mine on Maple (at least I think it is Maple, though I couldn't say which kind). Is this a micro moth larva or some other species? Help please!

Thanks Steve. I really do try to use the Leaf-miner Key in conjunction with Google to identify species but it's very hard. Thank you for your patience. I've got some more leaf mines from Aston Mere to identify, so I expect I'll try your patience even more.......
