Stigmella ruficapitella?

Post by Tim_Ward »

Another oak-mining Stigmella from Tegg's Nose.
The gallery and egg (see final photo) are both on the upper surface of the leaf. The frass is coiled in the second half. The larva is yellowish with a brown head.
I'd welcome confirmation that this is Stigmella ruficapitella.
Thanks,
Tim
