On 28/5/20 this Tortrix moth came to my pheromone lure for Grapholita funebrana.

It has now been confirmed as a male Pammene albuginana, a first record for Cheshire/VC58.

It's interesting to read the information provided by the pheromone supplier, Anglian Lepidopterist Supplies, on "non-target" species attracted to these lures. Even the clearwing lures appear to attract many unrelated species, although that hasn't been my experience.

I had four Neosphaleroptera nubilana attracted to the MYO clearwing lure in 2003, which was hanging from an apple tree in the garden.
