UN-ID micro from Heatley

Post by JohnD »

Hi All,

Found this micro on the outside of the kitchen window this afternoon, but no idea what it is. Be very grateful for suggestions. Sorry about poor image quality. Moth was 5 to 5.5 mm long.

I've been mulling it over - maybe this is Mompha subbistrigella?

Hi John,

Some specimens are hard to ID, but I think you are correct with this.
