Another micro agg.

Post by JohnR »

I caught this micro last night. I think it is either Acleris ferrugana or A. notana. Presumably another one for dissection to be certain?

Cheers, John

Hi John
Record as Acleris ferrugana/notana unless dissected.
I've dissected a dozen of these from my garden over the years, as I have both oak and birch nearby and have recorded both species but so far Acleris ferrugana beats A. notana 11-1.
Regards
Steve
