Coleophora mayrella?

Post by Tim_Ward »

This tiny moth (6mm) was in my Macclesfield mothtrap on Thursday night. It has an attractive metallic bronze sheen and the basal 40 percent of the boldly striped antennae are coated in dark scales. I have provisionally identified it as Coleophora mayrella and would be grateful for confirmation. Failing that, I could attempt dissection.
As always, thanks for any help, Tim
