Problem Wainscot

Trapped this last night in the garden. Can anyone help with id, please?
It's similar in size to Common/Smoky Wainscot

Could it be an Obscure Wainscot? One in my trap last summer and while can’t access the photos atm, recall a similar pattern of dots on the wing.

Thanks for that. There is a photo on UK Moths which looks similar. The size & flight period are ok also.

Hi Mike,

I think your moth is Obscure Wainscot, which shows the white line/streak in the wing ending at halfway with an obvious white dot, as it does on your moth.
