Two more Vestal at Marbury on the night of 11th October 2011, and two nearby in Antrobus this week.

Any one else catching these migrants in Cheshire?

On Thursday night I caught 66 moths of 17 species in the garden, an impressive catch for November. I’d forgotten to use my rain guard so no surprise after the downpour that my bulb was cracked. Fortunately I had a replacement, as last night produced an even bigger catch of 71 moths, 16 species, including at last a Vestal.
