London Buses

Post by SteveH »

London Buses:

Hi folks,

Sadly, and seemingly unlike anyone else trapping at the moment, we DIDN'T get hordes of insects the last time we trapped, and managed just five species. However, they did include a pale morph Diurnea fagella! One in 21 years and then two in three nights.. perhaps we shouldn't have been so surprised.

There was one other micro, as yet un-identified... and it may remain that way since its not exactly in mint condition.

Cheers,
Steve

Hello All

I think these are Diurnia fagella - both versions? I've never seen them in my garden before but they've been around for three nights now. If someone could confirm identification, I should be grateful.

Alison

Apologies - have just realized it should be Diurnea fagella.

Continuing the streak, the day after we trapped our second Diurnea fagella at home, I found another on a window at my office!
