Interesting site on hectads

Interesting site on hectads:

Hi Folks,

Idly browsing for information on hectads (10 by 10km grid squares) I stumbled across this site:

http://www.geograph.org.uk/hectadmap.php

which is actually quite a useful place should you wish to see photographs of habitat or whatever within any give 1km square within any hectad. I've not fully explored it, but it does look interesting. From the links' first page, you will need to scroll RIGHT and down to see a readily recognisable 'map' of the UK, not left as it states.

Its not moth specific obviously, but given that 'our' moth forum is by far the most used and visited on the RECORD site, I thought it the best place to post and therefore potentially reach the most people.

Cheers,
Steve
