Thanks Steve,

Not had one that looked so dark before ..... would never have considered - E.trimaculana - hence the post.

Looking through the new Micro-moth Field Guide, which arrived this morning, this is now called Notocelia trimaculana, one of many name changes we will have to get used to. What a pity that vernacular names were never standardized for the micro's. The "Triple-blotched Bell" would have been much easier to remember.

Steve

Steve ....

I hate name changes ...... just as I get used to calling something something, some bright spark has the notion to change it. The new micro book has yet to appear in our post ...... looking forward to it though!

Cheers,
Steve
