Epinotia subocellana:
I disturbed this Epinotia subocellana from below a Sallow (Salix caprea) at Poynton on 29th May in the same general area as my only other local sighting back in 1994. Very few moths were on the wing during the afternoon, although I did manage to find this Small Yellow Underwing.
