Confirmed by Kevin McCabe, who has been catching a few this last week in his Flixton garden, where he has also had Waved Black (Parascotia fuliginaria) and Large Twin-spot Carpet (Xanthorhoe quadrifasiata) recently.

Other species of interest I've heard about are Sycamore (Acronicta aceris) at Shavington and Red-necked Footman (Atolmis rubricollis) at Macclesfield Forest. The second year the footman has been seen during the day in the forest, so maybe a good colony there.

Regards,
Steve
