Global Freshwater Fish BioBlitz:

Freshwater fishes may now be the most endangered group of vertebrates with a third of species threatened with extinction. So, there is urgency to collect data on their distribution and occurrence to assist with conservation action.

That's where you come in ! With over 15,000 freshwater fish species (and with numbers continually growing !), scientists need your help to carry out a global census. Simply, upload your photographs along with where and when you observed the fishes, and any other details you have recorded.

The Global Freshwater Fish BioBlitz enables conservation scientists and nature lovers to work together to map these unique species and help conserve freshwater fishes now, and in the future. Be a part of it ! See the link below: http://www.inaturalist.org/projects/glo ... h-bioblitz.

Please also send your fish records to rECOrd (info@rECOrd-LRC.co.uk or enter them into RODIS (the best way) by clicking the RODIS name on the rECOrd Homepage - http://www.rECOrd-LRC.co.uk.
