About this event
Date and time: Wed, 26 January 2022; 19:00 – 20:30 GMT

At our first Online Wildlife Exchange Session of 2022, we're excited to be joined by Dr Nick Fleming from the University of Chester. Nick is a Senior Lecturer in the University's Biological Sciences department, who specialises in Marine Ecology and Conservation.

Nick will be taking us on a whistle-stop tour of some of the amazing marine species we're likely to encounter around the Wirral Coast. We'll discover some handy tips for identification, dive deep into the fascinating world of jellyfish and learn more about the brilliant, but threatened marine habitats right on our doorstep.

Come along to find out why wildlife recording is so important for marine conservation and learn how you can get involved in local citizen science work to help protect our oceans.

The event is hosted on Zoom which is free to use in this context. You will receive a link to the session when you book your place. Only 1 ticket is needed per household (as long as you all watch through the same device).

Our Wildlife Exchange sessions are hosted by RECORD and Chester Zoo. We are temporarily moving things online whilst face-to-face sessions aren't possible and hope you enjoy this new version of the events just as much!
