Mustelid survey and identification workshop

Post by RachelMC »

Due to the popularity of our Mustelid Wildlife Exchange Session we are pleased to announce this Mustelid survey and Identification workshop on 20th October which will be led by Andy Harmer and Roy Leigh of the Mustelids in Cheshire Project. Through the project, Andy and Roy are seeking to generate more records and, by doing so, improve our collective understanding of Mustelid ecology and distribution within Cheshire

This workshop will cover how to create your own Mostela, what materials you need and where to place them in order to get the best results. Andy and Roy will also cover identification of the mustelids found in Cheshire, (which include; Weasel, Stoat, Polecat, Mink, Otter & Badger) and what they did to capture some amazing footage.

Tea/coffee will be provided, but please bring your own packed lunch. As this workshop involves an outdoor element please bring along suitable warm and wet weather clothing.

**Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment**

Hosted by RECORD and Chester Zoo.

Please note photos may be taken at this event for use in RECORD publications.
