The Importance of Invertebrate Recording - WEBINAR

When? Wednesday 24 June 13:00 - 14:15
How? Using free zoom software (more info below)

We will be speaking about the importance of invertebrate recording at a free webinar organised by The Tanyptera Project.

Book your free place here via Eventbrite.

Join RECORD staff for an introduction to the role of record centres and the importance of recording invertebrates for their conservation. We’ll chat through what information is needed to make your biological records as valuable as possible and highlight what happens to the data once it comes to us. Plus find out a little bit more about some of the records we currently hold and how they can be used to uncover patterns and trends in the region’s invertebrate life.

This session is most suitable for those who are new to invertebrate recording but anyone is welcome!

We will end with an interactive question and answer session.

Please book your space via Eventbrite and we will send out a meeting link and ID to your email address the evening before. This is to allow for late bookings.

If you are new to Zoom you will need to create a Zoom account and download their software. This is all free and you can do so here: https://zoom.us/

You can use a laptop/desktop computer, smartphone or tablet and it isn’t necessary to have a webcam or microphone to participate.

Further info on how to join a zoom meeting can be found here
