Online Wildlife Exchange Session - Amphibians and Reptiles on the Wirral - Sharing Knowledge with a new ARG

Wednesday 30th June 2021 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Join us for our June Online Wildlife Exchange Session where we'll be finding out more about Wirral Amphibian and Reptile Group (ARG).

At this online talk we're excited to be joined by Tom Doherty-Bone who will talk about the work of Wirral Amphibian and Reptile Group.

Wirral Amphibian and Reptile group was set up with the aim of understanding and protecting the amazing species found in this area. At this talk we'll delve into the herpetological history of the Wirral and learn more about the important role of local Amphibian and Reptile Groups in the conservation of these animals. Find out more about the exciting projects the group is running at the moment, including coastal surveys and Great crested newt work. Plus come along to discover about what's planned for the rest of 2021 and beyond and how you can help out.

The event is hosted on Zoom which is free to use in this context. You will receive a link to the session when you book your place. Only 1 ticket is needed per household (as long as you all watch through the same device).

This event has limited capacity - if you find that you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your place via Eventbrite or email info@record-lrc.co.uk so that someone else can take your place.

These evenings provide a brilliant opportunity to learn a bit more about UK native species from local experts. They are hosted by RECORD and Chester Zoo. We are temporarily moving things online whilst face-to-face sessions aren't possible and hope you enjoy this new version of the events just as much!
