My first moth of the year, found flying in my kitchen, was a bit of a puzzle. Is this one of the Ephestias? Possibly kuehniella? Would be new for me. 10mm long.
Thanks,
Andrew

Ephestia kuehniella (Mediterranean Flour Moth) looks like a possibility, although these examples (on lepiforum)
http://www.lepiforum.de/lepiwiki.pl?Ephestia_Kuehniella
all seem to have a couple of strong black streaks at the apex, which are not seen on your photo.
Norfolk Moths and Manley both state that gen. det. would be needed to identify to species, as the Ephestia can be similar.

Thanks for the comments.
There are Cheshire records of kuehniella on mapmate but nothing recent it seems.
I've kept the specimen in case anyboby is willing to dissect it for me eventually.
