The Winter GMS has been a succession of blank returns since Jan 16 when I recorded a single Chestnut. Not surprising considering some of the overnight temperatures.
28/01/2021 and 04/02/2021 – Chestnut.
05/02/2021 – Pale Brindled Beauty and Spring Usher.
16/02/2021 – Oak Beauty. Back in 2003 when I constructed my first MV trap this species was the first capture,
so I'm always pleased to see it.

Re: Recent Records – an update.
Still slow going with another Oak Beauty on 19/2/2021 but last night (21/02/2021 min temp. 7.6 deg. C) much better.
March Moth, Red-green Carpet and Satellite, all NFY.
