A night worth waiting for. One needing ID

Post by bobhelencoan »

113 moths of 45 species. 27 new for the year on new for our garden. Tawny-barred angle. One needs confirmation of ID. We think it could be Elachista canapennella. Bob & Helen

Hi Bob & Helen,

I’d suggest Mompha subbistrigella for the micro?

Wednesday night was terrific for me too, with Broken-barred Carpet at least NFG and a couple awaiting ID. What a difference now that the warmer weather is here!

Cheers
Paul
