Spruce Bud Moth.jpg
Worn tortix 1.jpg
Worn tortrix 2.jpg
Good Afternoon

Trapped these 2 last night

I think this is a Spruce Bud Moth but would like confirmation. The other - a worn tortrix - is a puzzle

Reckon you're on a winner with that!

I had one this morning too, and was also hoping for something more exciting before I twigged what it was.

Cheers, Julian

The first moth resembles Eudemis profundana, which has a tuft, although a much larger species than Zeiraphera ratzeburgiana Spruce Bud Moth, which I don't think has the tuft.
You should be able to split these on size alone.
