Mellinus arvensis?

Mellinus arvensis?
Have been struggling to find an ID for RODIS. This individual has been taking and burying my hoverflies, especially syrphids. It is about 10-12mm long. Am excited to see it but there are so many things that look similar that I am hoping someone who knows what they are talking about might be able to point me in the right direction.
