Common Malachite Beetle (Malachius bipustulatus):

Hi,

This Common Malachite Beetle (Malachius bipustulatus) was seen at Burton Mere Wetlands RSPB on 17th May 2015. The yellowish extensions to the antennal segments 2-4 and body shape shows it to be a male. I would be interested to know its status and distribution in Cheshire.
