Ensign Fly - Sepsidae: Sepsis sp. at Burton Mere:
Hi All,
Fairly sure that this is a member of the Sepsidae family (Ensign Flies). Seen at Burton Mere Wetlands RSPB 07th June 2015. Looks similar to Sepsis fulgens but as there are 13 or so species in that genus I cannot be sure. Any help as to its identity would be greatly appreciated.
